Request 01 · Staffing
Can one guard run our lobby desk and still do security rounds?
In a smaller building, often yes, if the desk is covered while the guard is away and rounds are timed for quiet periods. In a busy tower, leaving the desk during the lobby rush defeats its purpose, so we usually recommend a second guard or a mobile patrol for rounds and after-hours checks.
Request 02 · After hours
Who responds when our alarm goes off at 3 a.m.?
Our alarm response team is dispatched immediately. The guard checks the perimeter and points of entry, contacts your keyholder as your procedure says, and files a report with photos so you know what happened before you reach the office.
Request 03 · Procedures
Will your guards follow our building’s existing procedures?
Yes. We write site-specific post orders from your tenant handbook, access rules and fire safety plan. Under the Ontario Fire Code, a building’s fire safety plan assigns duties to designated supervisory staff, so we brief guards on exactly what your plan expects of them.
Request 04 · Tenant experience
Tenants say security feels cold. Can the desk be friendlier without being softer?
It can. We brief guards on tenant names, building amenities and the tone you want at the desk, while the access rules stay the same. A guard who greets people warmly is also the one most likely to notice a face that does not belong.
Request 05 · Timing
How quickly can you add coverage?
For an urgent situation, we can usually have a guard on site in about 30 to 60 minutes, depending on travel. For ongoing coverage, we start with a free site assessment, agree the post orders, and schedule a start date that suits you.
