Security Guards & Patrols in Caledon for Estates, Farms and New Industry

Caledon is two places at once: rolling estate and farm country along the Niagara Escarpment and the Credit and Humber valleys, and a fast-growing south end where warehouses and subdivisions are spreading along the Highway 410/Highway 10 corridor and the Highway 50 lands near Bolton. Secure 24 Seven covers both — rural mobile patrols, house watch and alarm response for country properties, plus licensed on-site guards for construction, aggregate and industrial sites.

What protecting a Caledon property really involves

I.

Estate & Equestrian Country

Around Inglewood, Belfountain, Caledon Village, Alton, Palgrave and Cheltenham, homes sit on large lots behind long laneways, often out of sight of neighbours and the road. Owners travel, horses need checking, and a monitored alarm can be a long way from anyone who could look in on it.

We pair house watch visits with immediate alarm response, so a triggered panel at a country property gets a licensed guard at the door rather than a phone call that goes nowhere.

II.

Farms & Aggregate Pits

Much of Caledon is still farmland, and the town is also home to sand and gravel pits and quarries. Both share the same exposure: costly equipment, diesel and GPS units parked overnight in open fields or yards with a single chain across the entrance.

GPS-tracked mobile patrols check gates, fuel tanks and machinery on irregular schedules, and monitored cameras watch scale houses and pit entrances between visits.

III.

The New South End

Mayfield West has grown up around the end of Highway 410, where it becomes Highway 10. Further east, the Tullamore industrial area near Airport Road and the employment lands along Highway 50 and Coleraine Drive, south of Bolton, host large distribution and industrial buildings, with more on the way.

That means construction security while buildings and subdivisions go up, then warehouse security — gatehouses, yard patrols, dock control — once tenants move in.

The Caledon Gazetteer

Communities we cover, town to hamlet

Caledon is a collection of settlements rather than one centre. Our patrol routes are planned around them — and around the concession and sideroads in between, where most rural properties actually are.

What a guard checks on a Caledon acreage

  1. Road gate & lanewayGate secured, chain and lock intact, fresh tire tracks noted.
  2. Equipment & fuelTractors, trailers and fuel tanks where they were left; caps and valves locked.
  3. Barn & outbuildingsDoors closed, tack and tools in place, no signs of anyone sheltering.
  4. The houseDoors, windows, garage and alarm panel status, with a photo of each side.
  5. Back acreageRear access points and fence lines where trespassers usually enter.

Each stop is GPS-stamped and photographed, so you see the visit — not just a line saying it happened.

Questions from the Concession Roads

Caledon owners ask us

Our house is a long way down a private lane. Can a patrol really check it?

Yes — the guard drives in, rather than glancing from the road. We agree on gate access, where to park, which doors and outbuildings to check and what to photograph, and that becomes the written post order for every visit. If you have a monitored alarm, we can also be the people sent when it goes off.

Can you keep an eye on machinery left in the field during planting or harvest?

We can schedule night patrols that follow your equipment from field to field, logging each unit and its fuel tank with photos. For very high-value machinery parked in one place for several nights, a temporary on-site guard is the stronger option.

Do you guard aggregate pits on weekends and holidays?

Yes. Typical posts cover the gate and scale house, conveyor and fuel areas, and trespass by dirt bikes or swimmers. Under Ontario’s Trespass to Property Act an occupier, or someone they authorize, can direct people to leave; your post order sets out exactly what our guards are authorized to do on your behalf.

We’re building near Mayfield Road and the fence isn’t finished. Can you start now?

That is the best time to start. An unfenced site is the easiest target, so we usually recommend an overnight guard with a lit vehicle until the perimeter is complete, then reassess. Emergency deployment generally takes about 30 to 60 minutes depending on travel.

Down the Road

South of Mayfield Road, our Caledon routes run straight on into Brampton and Mississauga. East, they cross into King Township and Vaughan; west, the farms continue into Halton Hills. The full list lives on our service areas page.
